Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG)
ESG funds may be utilized for street outreach (SO), emergency shelter (ES), homeless prevention (HP), rapid re-housing (RRH) assistance, and Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) support. Local government and/or private nonprofit organizations are eligible to apply for ESG funding. The purpose of the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) is to secure funding to address the needs of individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

The Office of Homeless Services (OHS) offers funding, coordination, and program support to service programs throughout the state of Utah. OHS does not directly provide services or funding to individuals and families. If you are in need of services, please visit endutahhomeless.org.
