Social Services

We provide refugees with tools and resources they need to become self-sufficient and financially stable; culturally and linguistically appropriate case management services for refugees for up to 24 months after their arrival to the United States.  

Refugee Coordinated Case Management

We facilitate extended case management services — connecting refugees to resources that will improve their potential for greater self-sufficiency and integration.

We focus on increasing access, knowledge and skills in housing, health care, employment and financial stability, English, and education; as well as, community and family support systems promoting well-being and integration.

We connect refugees to services by:

• Providing instruction to refugees on how to navigate social, cultural and economic resources.
• Educating refugees on how to build the skills and increase confidence needed to pursue services they need on their own.
• Advocating for issues important to refugees.

Elderly Refugees

We partner with Salt Lake County to employ a full-time caseworker focused on connecting refugee seniors with available community resources related to:

• Health and well-being
• Recreation, socializing and integration
• English language classes
• Citizenships resources
• Community and family support
